A Fire Ring Head Gasket Kit will ensure that your engine head will not "lift"
and cause head gasket damage under high boost and HP levels. Copper rings are
inserted into machined grooves in the engine head, for protection against boost
levels above 50 PSI. The Fire Ring Head Gasket Kit is best used in conjuction
with Head Studs.
Head Studs are a must for any Cummins engine producing turbo boost pressures above
50 PSI. ATS offers Head Studs in two different sizes. For moderate performance
and towing applications, dropping in 12mm Head Studs is adequate. When looking
for extreme performance and absolute reliability, the extra large 14mm Head Stud
Kit is the answer. When installing 14mm Head Studs, the head must be enlarged
for stud clearance and the block must be drilled and tapped.
This is an excellent choice when rebuilding
a Cummins engine.
 The Performance
Grind Cam Shaft is ideal for towing applications. This Cam Shaft will reduce exhaust
gas temperatures, provides faster turbo spool up and improves the over all drivability
of the truck.
The High Duration Cam Shaft is designed for use with boost levels over 50 PSI.
This Cam Shaft has more duration and lift to allow more air into the motor for
more power. The High Duration Cam Shaft is recommended for use with the Complete
Performance Head.
The Complete Performance Head consists of performance
valve springs and oversized, hardened valves for maximum engine performance.
